Matching and a home visit
A representative visits the home to match language, age, manner, and skill, and stays through the arrival.
The caregiver lives in the home and stays with the patient over time. The match therefore matters as much as the permit. We place according to what the patient or family asks for, the complexity of the care, and language, age, manner, and the skill required.
A company representative comes to the home, and the placement support continues until the worker has settled in. The first period of getting to know each other takes time. It is worth giving that period a fair chance before deciding that the match has failed.
